At the age of nine, Gerald Lerner remembers the day his mother signed him up for a book club and the excitement when a plain flat cardboard box arrived delivering his first book. This was the moment he would become an avid reader, but it was the next year when things got serious. Gerald got his first library card.

Now, reading two or three books at a time was no longer unheard of or unusual. It was the fuel to his childhood imagination and when he first dreamt of becoming an author one day. Though if you asked him, being a fireman would have been a close second.

Moving from New York City, Gerald now lives in Los Angeles where he is working on the sequel to The Nighthawk Deception.
